lock your bikes outside the meeting room.

arrive by 5:45 PM. If a quorum of 12
members is not reached by 6:10 PM City, County and other staff are required to
leave and the meeting will be cancelled.

This is the time when any member of the public may address
the BAC. Due to time constraints, the total time allocated for this is 10
minutes. Individuals are allowed three minutes each. If
additional time is needed to address the BAC, it may be considered as an
agenda item for a future meeting.
4. BAC
Consent Agenda 6:40-6:50

The consent agenda is relatively new to the BAC, however it is not new to many organizations and municipal leaders. Items placed on the consent agenda are determined by the subcommittees and submitted by the subcommittee chairs to the Executive Sub-committee. These items are considered to not require any discussion by the BAC and simply require a vote. Discussion may occur if a member requests it. The item may be discussed for a limited amount of time, as determined by the BAC Chair. It will remain on the consent agenda and be voted upon as part of the consent agenda.
a. A motion to
support a Bicycle Diversion Program for all PAG jurisdictions
b. A motion to communicate to Pima
County the BAC’s support for protecting the Green Valley West Desert Preserve.
c. A motion
to recommend "potential bike safety improvements in roadway designs"
for communication to all the PAG jurisdictions.
d. A motion
to approve a resolution recommending "Construction Barricade
Improvements" that will be communicated to the jurisdictions.
e. A motion to communicate to Pima County concerns about the Madera Canyon area development impacts on bike/ped safety.
